Overview

The TRIDENT Ecosystem provides shared national capabilities for digital identity, authentication, authorization, digital signing, verified data access, ID card integration, and digital credentials.

This section offers a guided introduction to the main TRIDENT integration capabilities available in the Sandbox. It is intended for Government agencies, relying parties, and technical teams preparing use cases or exploring how their applications can connect to TRIDENT services.

The content is organized into four integration areas:

  • Identity and Signature Providers: authentication, authorization, access to identity information, and remote digital signing.
  • ID Card Middleware: secure interaction with the TRIDENT ID Card through smart card readers, local Middleware, and developer connectors.
  • Verified Data Gateway: controlled access to verified data, protected data-provider APIs, and data-minimization patterns.
  • Wallet Ecosystem: digital credential issuance, presentation, and verification through simplified TRIDENT interfaces.

Each area includes:

  • An Integration Guide introducing the main concepts, participants, and integration flows.
  • Developer Resources providing the available documentation, tools, API collections, and downloadable components for Sandbox exploration.

The material is intended as an initial integration reference. Detailed endpoints, configurations, credentials, and environment-specific parameters are provided according to each approved Sandbox use case.
